PBRS II - Layer Control

Each layer, band and filter can be turned 'on' or 'off', depending on the context of the PBRS application. It is this 'layer control' principle that underpins the mechanics of the area-based approach.

Individual datasets that comprise a layer can be weighted depending on how important they are considered to be. Similarly the individual layers can be weighted, for instance in order to concentrate on a particular aspect the project wishes to focus on.
